Ingredients of Broccoli Cheddar Mac and Cheese

  1. Prepare of Ingredients.
  2. You need 1 of Broccoli Crown (roughly chopped).
  3. You need 1 of Carrot (julienne cut).
  4. It's 1 of Small Onion (finely chopped).
  5. Prepare 4 tbsp of Butter.
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp of Flour.
  7. Prepare 1 tsp of Black Pepper.
  8. Prepare 1 1/2 Cup of Milk.
  9. It's 1 of Knor Chicken Cube.
  10. You need 4 Cups of Water.
  11. It's 2 Cup of Macaroni.
  12. You need 1 Cup of Cheddar Cheese.

Allow mixture to come to a boil and sauce will thicken. Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.

Broccoli Cheddar Mac and Cheese instructions

  1. In a pan take butter.
  2. Add flour to make roux.
  3. Add onion cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add Milk and chicken cube.
  5. Cook until it starts to thicken.
  6. Add carrots and broccoli.
  7. Mix well add water and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Boil macaroni.
  9. Add it in and then add cheese.
  10. Let it simmer until it reaches your required consistency.
  11. You can also put some extra cheese on top and bake it.

Add pasta mixture and toss to combine. I added chicken, sharp white cheddar and sun dried tomatoes. Also, added more dijon to taste. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
